Summer 2023 saw the Northern Irishmen from rural Clogher Valley embark on an adventurous tour to Washington state and British Columbia.
With most of the USA covered on previous rugby tours to north America with MSG, Bedlinog RFC continued their adventurous streak across three new states.
28 players from RAMS’ women’s rugby programme (formerly Army Medical Services) travelled with us on active duty to The Lone Star State of Texas for a pre-Christmas rugby tour.
The team will be playing three touring fixtures and receiving pro-coaching in both Atlanta and Nashville. The tour will be crucial for building the team’s morale and preparing them for the season ahead.
One of our most recent tours in July saw Yorkshire’s Dinnington High School embark on a significant North American adventure to Canada and USA, playing a number of different sports including netball, football, rugby and hockey with 63 students.
Whilst some of the tours we organise on a regular basis are long-haul and for significant periods or time, we also service those that want to visit somewhere for a shorter duration and closer to home – yet equally rewarding.
Having previously toured with us to Texas and USA’s the Deep South, Cardiff’s Old Illtydians opted to continue their American theme with a 12-day pilgrimage around the Midwest.
The players and supporters of Croesyceiliog achieved touring stardom on their recent tour to Toronto and New York, playing a game in each city as part of a 10-day tour.
Capt Dean Oatley, tour leader is excited about this US expedition and to “challenge the squad in a major international event, assisted with a fantastic build up in New York against testing opposition”
The Royal and Mechanical Electrical Engineers (REME) Hockey headed west across the Atlantic for a 14-day hockey tour to the USA.
