Royal Artillery’s Football Tour to the USA

In June 2026, the Royal Artillery will embark on a joint men’s and women’s football tour to the United States, timed to coincide with the FIFA World Cup taking place across the country.  
They will begin their tour with four nights in New York City, where the group will enjoy some of the city’s most iconic sights, including a visit to the Top of the Rock, where sweeping views of Manhattan will provide an unforgettable start to their American adventure. 
Midway through the tour, the contingent will travel by Amtrak to Washington DC for a further four nights in the nation’s capital. Here, the teams will take part in a guided tour of Arlington National Cemetery – a particularly meaningful experience for a military group, offering space for reflection and a deeper connection to American military history and sacrifice. 
Alongside these cultural and historical elements, both teams will play two fixtures against local opposition, gaining valuable game time and the chance to build connections with their American counterparts. Blending competitive football, and culture, the tour promises to be a memorable and enriching experience for all involved.
