In March 2026, students from Tredegar School set off on an inspiring Art Study Tour to Paris. From the moment they arrived, pupils were immersed in the city’s rich artistic heritage, drawing inspiration from its world-renowned landmarks, architecture, and vibrant atmosphere.
A highlight of the tour was a full day of sightseeing across Paris, where students explored iconic locations and experienced first-hand the settings that have influenced some of the world’s greatest artists. This provided valuable context for their studies, allowing them to connect classroom learning with real-world artistic expression.
The itinerary, led by MSG’s Lauren D’Cruz in Tour Manager capacity, also included an exciting visit to Disneyland Paris, where creativity and design took centre stage. Across two days in both the main park and Walt Disney Studios, students gained insight into visual storytelling, animation, and immersive set design, offering a unique perspective on modern creative industries.
Throughout the tour, students developed their artistic skills, broadened their cultural awareness, and built lasting memories with their peers. The experience combined education, inspiration, and enjoyment, leaving students with fresh ideas and a deeper appreciation for art in all its forms.
