The Royal Army Physical Training Corps travelled to Lisbon, Portugal, for a week of rugby, team building, and cultural experiences.

After arriving in the city, the team settled in and began exploring Lisbon’s main sights, including Belém and Alfama. They also enjoyed traditional Portuguese food and sampled the famous pastel de nata. 
The first fixture saw the team take on a strong local side in a competitive and well-spirited match, followed by great post-match hospitality from the hosts. 
During their downtime, the group visited Sintra to see its historic palaces and took a trip to the coastal towns of Cascais and Estoril, where they enjoyed some time by the sea and light recovery activities. 
It was a memorable and rewarding tour for the Royal Army Physical Training Corps. Lisbon proved an excellent destination both on and off the pitch.
