Northampton School for Boys travelled to the Caribbean for a nine-day cricket tour to Barbados, combining cricket with exploration of one of the sport’s most iconic destinations.
Cricket was at the heart of the trip, with one training session and six fixtures against local opposition. Playing in the conditions provided a valuable test and helped the squad develop their skills and adaptability. A highlight was a Legends Tour of the historic Kensington Oval, giving players a deeper insight into the country’s rich cricketing roots.
Away from the pitch, the group enjoyed a range of excursions, like an island tour of Barbados and a catamaran cruise along the coastline, offering time to relax, explore, and enjoy the island together.
The tour was filled with brilliant experiences that the students will remember forever.
