NPTC's sports coaching tour to Kenya
March 2026 saw the adventurous students at Neath Port Talbot College take on a life-enhancing sports coaching tour to Kenya.  
Commencing in Nairobi, MSG x NPTC partnered with the East Africa Character Development Trust to deliver engaging sports coaching sessions in schools across some of Nairobi’s most socially challenged communities. This gave students the chance to make a genuine difference to young people’s lives while developing their own coaching skills, leadership abilities, and global awareness in a truly inspiring environment.
Their journey then continued with a spectacular 3 day/2 night, full board stay at Kalima Camp in the breathtaking Amboseli National Park, where students enjoyed guided safari drives, witnessed Kenya’s extraordinary wildlife up close and took in the stunning scenery from their lodge accommodation.  
The tour offered the perfect blend of purposeful volunteering, cultural immersion, and once-in-a-lifetime adventure—an enriching experience for everyone involved.
