Bridgend & District Schools U11’s 2025 Rugby Tour to Paris
80 players and parents from Bridgend & District Schools struck it lucky on their recent rugby tour to Paris. Their tour coincided with a re-arranged Top14 fixture at the impressive La Defence Arena as the hosts, Racing, took on city rivals Stade Francais.
Those following French rugby will be aware of the passion in the capital for this annual fixture. The live game followed a full sporting day for the tourists who were hosted wonderfully by RC Vincennes, including a visit from a neighbouring club eager to play against the touring invitational side.
The rugby-focused day handily created a free day for sightseeing. The tourists enjoyed climbing the Eiffel Tower, exploring the Louvre and watching a firework show across the Seine to round off a memorable day in the city.
An unbelievable second half see’s Racing 92 taking the victory 👏🏼 The boys then getting stuck in, meeting players and acquiring autographs 🏉
