International Netball Star joins MSG Tours in Ambassador Role

Suzy Drane appointed as MSG Tours’ Netball Ambassador

International netball star, Suzy Drane is the newest addition to the MSG Tours Ambassador family. Holding 81 International Caps for Wales, Suzy has been representing her country since her International debut against Jamaica in June 2005 and is extremely passionate about growing the global participation levels of netball.

Suzy gained first-hand experience of MSG Tours in Greece as a tour leader with her alma mater, Rydal Penrhos on their own netball tour. Whilst the girls helped to develop the precocious talent of local players, Suzy assisted in holding training sessions and integrated herself with the oppositions’ coaching and officiating staff to help their growth into the game.

MSG continued the association with Suzy in July, sponsoring the Celtic Dragons captain her for the inaugural Super Clubs Tournament, held in Nelson, New Zealand. The team’s efforts saw them take fifth place ahead of all other international invitation teams outside Australia and New Zealand, a fantastic achievement!

Speaking to MSG Tours regarding her appointment as Netball Ambassador, Suzy said: “I am extremely excited to be teaming up with MSG Tours as one of their ambassadors. I am passionate about the value of sport and the opportunities this can present on and off the field. I have been fortunate enough to have seen a lot of the world and learnt about various places and cultures through my sport. I am excited to be working with the MSG Team to present others with the opportunities to have great travel and life experiences through sport.”
