A great night was had by all at Rhymney RFC for our ?#?LionsTour? launch on Friday 12th February 2016. Thanks to our special guest speakers, Lions legends Graham Price and very own Ambassador, Tim Stimpson, for entertaining us with tales from yesteryear. All pre-sale places sold out on the night with the side trip to Fiji proving extremely popular.

We subsequently added an extra 30 places to the tour on a first served basis which were also snapped up by eager Lions supporters seeking a value-for-money touring experience to follow their rugby idols.

The tour doubles as a special occasion for Andrew & Alex who return for their second Lions tour, this time as husband and wife on honeymoon.  It’s our pleasure to welcome the happy couple on tour with plenty of bubbles awaiting to celebrate what we wall hope will be a Series victory.

Our five touring packages visit the very best of New Zealand’s North Island, including Auckland, Wellington, Bay of Islands, Rotorua, Lake Taupo, Napier and Palmerston North.  A stopover in Fiji provides much welcome respite from the cool Kiwi winters that await with open arms every twelve years when the 30,000+ pilgrimage arrives The Land of the Long White Cloud.
