Gothia Cup in Sweden

Gothia Cup is the world's largest international youth football tournament, and held since 1975 in Gothenburg, Sweden.

It is the largest annual event in Sweden with 1900 teams from 80 countries, and offers the most advanced, and yet easy to use, system for result and match scheduling. Over the years, over 1.3 million players from a total of 151 countries have participated in the tournament, with over 2500 matches live-streamed during Gothia Cup.

The tournament’s vision states: ‘The Gothia Cup shall be a meeting place for the young people of the world, regardless of colour, gender or religion.’ This was written in 1981 and remains the guiding principle for the organisation to this day.
