Rugby Sports Tour to Italy, Verona
Uppingham School embarked on a mammoth pre-season tour that began in the mountains north of Verona. Here they spent 3 nights enjoying the clear air and using the altitude to enhance fitness and togetherness.
From the mountains, they headed back to Verona where they were housed in the incredible Payanini Centre. With pristine training pitches visible from the windows of their accommodation and an on-site restaurant built into the main stand and overlooking the pitches, the scene was set for some great rugby.
"Thank you for an incredible 10 days. You have been attentive and responsive throughout! 1 lake, 2 matches, 4 cities, 19 dice rolls, 25 boys and countless memories. Milan was a nice touch to finish it all off as well! Now onto the Rugby term!"
