St. Alban’s Roman Catholic High School kicked off their football and rugby tour to Canada by experiencing a jetboat journey down the St. Lawrence River in Montreal, Quebec. 

The tour included competitive fixtures against local teams, sightseeing excursions such as Canada’s Wonderland and the CN Tower, and a unique overnight rafting experience that enriched their tour.  

Visiting multiple cities on the eastern region of Canada such as Ottawa, Montreal, Toronto & Niagara gave the group and the tour a valuable opportunity to develop sporting growth, team cohesion, and cultural exposure.  

Competing against Canadian teams helped improve adaptability, while activities like watching a Blue Jays MLB fixture and sightseeing fostered camaraderie. The experience enriched players on and off the field, making the tour a resounding success.
