Marbella Festival Cup in Spain
The Marbella Festival Cup is one of the standout junior rugby touring events on Spain’s Costa del Sol, bringing together teams from the UK, Ireland and across Europe for a high-quality festival atmosphere across Easter weekend of 2027.
The tournament combines competitive rugby and the chance to enjoy Marbella’s sunny climate and beaches away from the pitch. As the tournament falls on Easter weekend, it's the perfect opportunity to get the group away together and give players something to look forward to before heading into exam season!
Away from the rugby, Marbella offers plenty to keep teams entertained during their free time, with golden beaches, beach clubs, shopping areas, and a lively promenade all within easy reach. Groups can spend an off day exploring Marbella’s picturesque Old Town, relaxing by the marina at Puerto Banús, or taking part in activities such as paddle boarding, water parks and golf.

Example Itinerary
Day 1
Meet as a group in preparation for flight to Malaga Airport (AGP).
Make your way through security into the departure lounge
TBC – Scheduled departure of flight to Malaga (AGP)
TBC – Scheduled arrival of flight into Malaga (AGP)
Upon arrival, clear customs, collect any bags and make your way into the arrivals hall where a tour representative will take you to your coach.
Transfer to your accommodation for the next 3 x nights on a HB basis.
Check into your rooms and enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure
Dinner included at your accommodation this evening.
Day 2
Breakfast at the hotel.
A free day at your leisure to enjoy the hotels facilities or head down the beach.
Alternatively pick from an exciting optional activity today which must be booked at least 2 months prior to arrival date;
Some examples include;
– Mediterranean Steps Gibraltar/Monkeys/Nature Reserve
– Dolphin Adventure Tour
– Bowling/Laser Quest
– Amazonia Jungle Tree Experience
– Tarifa Beach Spain – Surfing / Kite Surfing / Paddle Boarding (recommended*)
– Aqua Park
Optional activities cost between €30-€55 EUR pp depending on chosen activity
An optional activity will also give you access to bus hire for the majority of the day, so a trip to the beach or any other recommended location in the area will be possible.

Day 3
Enjoy breakfast included at your accommodation this morning.
Transfer as a group to the tournament venue.
Tournament Format:
2 Groups of 4 teams (8 Teams Max)
Play each team in the group
Then 4v4 3v3 2v2 1v1 to find the winner
10 minutes each way games
Presentations following the conclusion of final
Transfer back to your accommodation following the festival and enjoy your evening meal included at the hotel.
Day 4
Breakfast included at your accommodation this morning.
Board your transfer from the hotel to Malaga Airport (AGP).
Make your way through security and into the departure lounge
TBC – Scheduled departure of flight back to the UK
TBC – Scheduled arrival of flight back to the UK
Upon arrival, clear customs and make your way into the arrivals hall for own onwards arrangements.
Please note: Those extending their stay will be responsible for making their own arrangements back to the airport.
